Speaker of Moroccan House of Representatives Sends Message of Congratulations to Newly Elected President of the PACE

It is with great pleasure that I learned your election as President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

On this auspicious occasion, I wish to express to you my warmest congratulations and best wishes of success in fulfilling the mission for which you have been so brilliantly elected.

I am convinced that your rich experience and personal qualities will be major assets to promote the cooperation between us and to give it a new impetus to even allow our assemblies to cope with many challenges which it faces.

I fully share your view of the important role of the PACE as a pillar of democratic security, human rights and the rule of law, as well as a platform for effective multilateralism for dialogue and global and inclusive political cooperation.

I avail myself of this opportunity to assure you of my willingness to cooperate with you in order to further strengthen and diversify the friendly relations that exist between our two Assemblies and to advance our collective aspirations to achieve our common goals towards international peace and stability as well as human and sustainable development.

In this regard, and in order to give our relations the scope they deserve, I have the honor to invite you to undertake an official visit to the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco.
