Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Saudi Foreign Affairs Minister

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami received on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the House, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness the Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah Al Saud.

The two parties lauded the quality of the bonds linking the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as their historical entrenchment at all levels.

The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness the Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah Al Saud, stressed that the relations linking the two countries are strategic and deep rooted. He also noted that their strength stems from the solid and friendly bonds between the two countries leaders. The Saudi Official added that the two countries share a similar destiny and that his country aspires to advance and institutionalize the bilateral ties in all areas. In the same vein, he highlighted the role of the legislative institutions of the two countries.

For his part, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami shed light on the excellent ties uniting Rabat and Riyad and the constant keenness to advance them. At the parliamentary level, the Speaker of the House of Representatives commended the cooperation links between the legislative institutions of the two countries, expressing a strong will to consolidate and reinforce them through the dynamic of the friendship groups, continuous communication and dialogue between parliamentarians, exchange of experiences and expertise, in addition to coordination in the various regional and international parliamentary fora.

The reception was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ghariri, the Saudi Ambassador and Deputy Minister of State for African Affairs, H.E. Sami al-Saleh, and the Director-General of the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hon. Abdulrahman Al-Daoud.
