Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Parliamentary Delegation of the Chamber of Deputies of the Dominican Republic

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Seat of the House, a delegation of the Chamber of Deputies of the Dominican Republic, led by MP. Rosa Hilda Genao, the Chairperson of the Dominican Republic-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group. The delegation is on a work visit to the Kingdom of Morocco on October 24-28, during which they will take part in the economic and cultural activities organized by the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Rabat.

During the talks, attended by the Chairperson of the Morocco-Dominican Republic Parliamentary Friendship Group, Rep. Abderrazak Hachimi, and the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Rabat, H.E. Justo Duarte Amaury, the Speaker of the House of Representatives commended the good parliamentary links uniting the Kingdom of Morocco and the Dominican Republic. In the same respect, he praised the positive stance of the Dominican Republic in support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.

For their part, the members of the Dominican parliamentary delegation expressed their pride at the deep parliamentary friendship and cooperation ties linking the two countries. In the same regard, they noted the important role of the two parliamentary friendship groups at the two legislative institutions in advancing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and contributing to the consolidation of relations between them in all areas, particularly economy and trade.

The delegation of the Chamber of Deputies of the Dominican Republic includes the Chairperson of the Dominican Republic-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group, MP. Rosa Hilda Genao, and the members of the Chamber: MP. Llanelis Matos (Modern Revolutionary Party), MP. Ramon M. Martinez (Liberation Party), and MP. Nicolas Lopez (Modern Revolutionary Party).
