Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Delegation of the Royal College of Defence Studies

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami received on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the seat of the House, a delegation of the UK Royal College of Defence Studies.

The reception is part of the ongoing study visit of the RCDS delegation to North Africa and Spain on May 8-14.

On occasion, the Speaker of the House of Representatives gave a brief overview of the projects and political, economic, and social reforms engaged by the Kingdom of Morocco during the recent years under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify him.

The Speaker of the House interacted with the questions of the delegation as he gave extensive clarifications on the various themes, mainly linked to the evolution of the democratic practice in the Kingdom of Morocco, climate change impacts, the management of the COVID-19 pandemic, renewable energies, digital transition, and cultural plurality, which are all major projects that rendered the Kingdom of Morocco a regional model of security and stability.

The Speaker of the House also covered some international questions, particularly the security and stability challenges the world faces.

It should be noted that the Royal College of Defence Studies was founded in 1927. The College is a worldwide renowned institution in strategic research and thinking.
