The Board of the House of Representatives held its weekly meeting under the chairmanship of Speaker of the House Habib El Malki on Monday, April 26, 2021. The meeting was devoted to control, legislation, and the House’s work program.

At the onset of the meeting, Speaker of the House Habib El Malki recalled the occasion of Ramadan 10th, which coincides with the anniversary of the passing the Father of the Nation, the late His Majesty King Mohammed V, may his soul rest in peace. It is an occasion, adds the Speaker, where all Moroccans recall the enormous sacrifices of the late King for his country and people and his unwavering struggle for freedom and independence, in addition to the strong bond that links the Moroccan people to the glorious Alaouite Throne.

Upon the passing of the Father of the Nation, the heir of his throne, and his companion in the struggle, the late His Majesty King Hassan II, may his soul rest in peace, carried the torch with the view of consolidating these gains and reinforcing institutions.

On the same path, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, pursues with determination the process of building, which is reflected through the major economic and social projects in the various regions of the country, in addition to the political reforms that culminated in a new constitution, which constitutes an important turning point in the contemporary history of Morocco.
