Petitions Committee Holds Meeting to Present Demo Version of the Digital Platform for Participatory Democracy

The Petitions Committee held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, a meeting presided by its Chairperson, Rep. Khadija Ezzoumi, with the presence of Rep. Malika Zekhnini, member of the Committee, the Director of Legislation, the Director of Communication and Information Systems, representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and representatives of the company in charge of setting up the digital platform for participatory democracy.

The meeting featured the presentation of the demo version of the digital platform for participatory democracy and the discussion of its contents. In this respect, the Chairperson of the Committee, Rep. Khadija Ezzoumi, and Rep. Malika Zekhnini made several remarks on ameliorating the platform’s content.

Besides, they noted the importance of conducting an awareness-raising campaign in parallel with the official launch of the digital platform for participatory democracy for all citizens.
