The Chairperson of the Morocco-Switzerland Parliamentary Friendship Group, Rep. Khadija Oualbacha, held talks on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Seat of the House, with two members of the National Council of Switzerland, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.
In their talks, the two parties tackled several questions related mainly to the consolidation of economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and Switzerland and the exchange of expertise in tourism, scientific research, and renewable energies.
On occasion, Rep. Khadija Oualbacha stressed the importance of activating the joint parliamentary friendship group to perform its roles in reinforcing the cooperation ties with Switzerland, which is considered an important partner to the Kingdom of Morocco.
For their part, the Swiss parliamentary delegation, including Cllr. Michel Matter and Cllr. Benjamin Roduit, noted that the visit will contribute to solidifying the cooperation links between the two countries and their legislative institutions.
The Morocco-Switzerland Parliamentary Friendship Group members, Rep. Latifa Chrif and Rep. Hind Ratl Bennani, attended the meeting.
