Speaker of the House of Representatives Performs Working Visit to the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, performs on Monday, December 9, 2024, a parliamentary working visit to the Republic of Slovenia upon the invitation of the Speaker of the Slovene National Assembly, Hon. Urška Klakočar Zupančič.

The visit, which includes several prominent parliamentary meetings, aims to introduce the major projects launched by the Kingdom of Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist him. The visit will also feature the examination of the means to reinforce the good bilateral and multilateral relations uniting the two countries, the consolidation of permanent dialogue and communication, coordination within the various regional and international parliamentary fora under mutual respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States, and the contribution of the two legislative institutions and their members to the promotion of world peace and security. 

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Hon. Urška Klakočar Zupančič, had performed a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco in November 2022. The visit culminated in the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Moroccan House of Representatives and the Slovene National Assembly. The memorandum aims to advance the friendship ties, reinforce understanding, exchange parliamentary experiences and expertise, and ensure continuous dialogue on questions of mutual parliamentary concern.
