Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Delegation of the Commission on Delegate Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, a delegation of the Commission on Delegate Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam, led by MP. Nguyen Anh Tuan, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco. 

At the onset of the meeting, attended by the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Rabat, H.E. Le Kim Quy, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, lauded the excellent ties uniting Morocco and Vietnam, particularly at the bilateral and bilateral parliamentary levels. 

On the same occasion, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami briefed the Vietnamese parliamentary delegation on the significant reforms and projects launched by the Kingdom of Morocco under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist him. He also gave extensive explications on the administrative and electoral division of the Kingdom, the House's structure, and its prerogatives, particularly regarding public policy evaluation. 

In his intervention on behalf of the delegation of the Commission on Delegate Affairs, MP Nguyen Anh Tuan commended the leading role of the Kingdom in Africa. He also noted that this visit aims mainly to anchor cooperation between the legislative institutions of the two countries and exchange experiences and expertise. 

The delegation of the Commission on Delegate Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam will hold a series of talks with the Standing Committees of the House of Representatives. 

It should be noted that the House of Representatives and the National Assembly of Vietnam had concluded a cooperation agreement in 2017 in Hanoi.
