Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, chaired on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the Seat of the House, the Award Ceremony of the National Prize for Studies and Research on Parliamentary Action in its fourth edition.
In his address on the occasion, the Speaker of the House of Representatives noted that the objective behind the Prize, launched in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the House, is to value distinguished scientific research papers and encourage researchers to focus more on parliamentary studies and tackle the novel issues and pressing questions raised by the practice, particularly in legislation, control, public policy evaluation, parliamentary diplomacy, and citizen participation.
Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami also stressed the importance of communication and openness by the House of Representatives, noting the institutionalization of the avenues of academic communication and cooperation with public universities within the scope of an ambitious strategy the House is implementing to ameliorate its works and anchor its openness to society.
