Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives First President of the French Court of Accounts

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, the First President of the French Court of Accounts, Mr. Pierre Moscovici, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, during which he took part in the meeting of the members of the Forum of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) with jurisdictional functions, organized by the Court of Accounts on Tuesday in Casablanca.

On this occasion, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami gave an overview of the institutional reforms the Kingdom of Morocco has conducted, in addition to the development projects it has implemented under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist him. The Speaker also shed light on the Moroccan parliamentary experience in light of the 2011 Constitution, focusing on the prerogatives conferred to the Parliament, particularly in public policy evaluation, as well as its relations with the other constitutional institutions and the principle of separation of powers.

The meeting of the Speaker of the House of Representatives with the First President of the Court of Accounts in France was also an opportunity to exchange views on several questions of mutual concern.
