Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Chairperson of the Committee on International Economic Relations in the Bolivian Chamber of Deputies

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, Ms. Samantha Nogales, Chairperson of the Committee on International Economic Relations and Vice-Chairperson of the Committee on International Policies and Protection of Migrants in the Bolivian Chamber of Deputies, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco alongside other members of the Chamber.

During the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed that the Kingdom of Morocco is a model of security and stability, thanks to the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist him.

Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami also stressed the importance of consolidating the cooperation ties between the two legislative institutions of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Bolivia, adding that the Moroccan Parliament enjoys observer member status in several Latin American parliamentary organizations.

The talks provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss several parliamentary issues of common interest.

The aim of the visit by the Bolivian parliamentary delegation is to learn more about the Moroccan experience in a number of areas.

In addition to Ms. Samantha Nogales, the Bolivian parliamentary delegation includes Ms. Tatiana Afnez, member of the Committee on Provincial Organization and Districts Autonomy, representing the city of Santa Cruz, Ms. Pamela Alurralde, member of the Committee for Human Rights and Equal Opportunities, representing the governorate of Chuquisaca, and Ms. Mayra Zalles, member of the Committee for Natural Resources, Water, and Sanitation, representing the city of Cochabamba.
