Speakers of the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors Hold Bilateral Meetings with Speakers of Parliaments Participating in the Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, and Speaker of the House of Councilors, Hon. Ennam Mayara, held bilateral talks on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in Marrakesh, with several Speakers of the Parliaments participating in the Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue. 

The Speakers held talks with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Cape Verde, Hon. Austelino Tavares Correia; the Speaker of the National Assembly of Zimbabwe, Hon. Jacob Francis Mudenda; the President of the Pan-African Parliament, Hon. Fortune Z. Charumbira; the Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hon. AHMED BIN SALMAN AL MUSALAM; and the Speaker of the Transitional Legislative Assembly, Hon. Ousmane Bougouma.

The talks covered the means to consolidate bilateral parliamentary ties. The meetings were also an opportunity for the Speakers of the Parliaments participating in the Conference to express their appreciation of the Royal Message addressed to participants. They also commended the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify him, in consolidating interfaith dialogue and entrenching the values of coexistence and tolerance between all civilizations, cultures, and populations.
