Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives the World Bank's Country Director

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the seat of the House, the World Bank's Country Director for the Maghreb and Malta, Mr. Jesko Henstshel, accompanied by Ms. Estelle Allano, the Senior External Affairs and Communication Officer.

The talks between the two parties covered the major economic and social projects launched by the Kingdom of Morocco.

Besides, the two parties discussed the partnership linking the House of Representatives and the World Bank Group, the various present and future programs, and the means to advance relations between the two institutions, share knowledge, studies, and research, and exploit them in parliamentary action. They also tackled openness to priority questions like the green economy, climate change, water security, education, renewable energies, and digital transition.
