Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Envoy of the Libyan House of Representatives to the Kingdom of Morocco

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami received on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the seat of the House in Rabat, the Envoy of the Libyan House of Representatives to the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Abdelmajid Ghaith Saif Al-Nasr.

During the talks, the two parties commended the historically and culturally deep-rooted relations linking the two countries. Besides, they discussed the means to consolidate parliamentary cooperation through the institutionalization of bilateral and multilateral ties, continuous dialogue, the creation of dialogue spaces, and the exchange and sharing of experiences and expertise with respect for the unity and territorial integrity of States. 

It should be noted that the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco and the House of Representatives of Libya concluded a Memorandum of Understanding on July 27, 2020, to reinforce coordination and consultation between the two institutions on several questions and matters of mutual concern.
