Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Delegation of the Nigerian National Assembly Service Commission

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, a delegation of the Service Commission at the National Assembly of Nigeria, led by the Committee’s Executive Chairman, Mr. Ahmed Amshi Kadi, currently on a working and courtesy visit to our country. 

During the meeting, the two parties commended the distinguished ties linking the Kingdom of Morocco to the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In the same respect, they expressed their aspirations towards solidifying relations between the two legislative institutions, consolidating consultation, and exchanging views in a way that serves the mutual interests of both countries. 

The meeting also enabled the two parties to highlight the peculiarities of the parliamentary experience of each country. In this regard, they stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and expertise in all areas of parliamentary action and reinforcing coordination between the legislative institutions of the two countries at the bilateral and multilateral levels. 

The Chairperson of the Morocco-Nigeria Parliamentary Friendship Group, Rep. Abdelilah Chiker, attended the meeting.
