Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Delegation of the Legal Committee of the Jordanian House of Representatives

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, a delegation of the Legal Committee of the Jordanian House of Representatives, led by MP Haitham Alziadin, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco to explore the Moroccan parliamentary experience closely.

The meeting was an occasion for the two parties to underscore the strength of the distinguished historic ties linking the two countries and their peoples under the patronage of their two leaders. Besides, the two parties noted the importance of exchanging experiences and expertise between the two legislative institutions in a way that contributes to advancing parliamentary action and reinforcing cooperation and coordination between the Parliaments of the two brotherly countries.

On the same occasion, the Jordanian parliamentary delegation praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco in supporting the Palestinian cause under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairperson of the Al-Quds Committee, may Allah assist him. They also hailed the role of the Kingdom of Morocco in establishing global peace and security and its constant defense of peaceful conflict resolution.

The Jordanian parliamentary delegation also reiterated their country's unwavering support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The meeting featured the presence of Rep. Khadija Arouhal, Chairperson of the Morocco-Jordan Parliamentary Friendship Group. The Jordanian delegation comprised MP Mohammad Jaradat, MP Saleh Al Wikhyan, MP Ramzi Alajarmeh, MP Mohammad Al Helalat, MP Fayez Busbous, MP Suleiman Al Qallab, MP Habis Al Shabeeb, MP Aref Al Saaideh, and MP Mohammed Al-Emrayat.
