Speaker of the House of Representatives Receives Australian Shadow Assistant Minister for Trade

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the seat of the House in Rabat, the Australian Shadow Assistant Minister for Trade, Mr. Rick Wilson, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco from April 30 to May 7, 2023. 

During their talks, the two parties commended the bilateral and multilateral parliamentary relations and stressed the importance of parliamentary coordination via continuous dialogue, coordination, and exchange of visits. Besides, the two parties highlighted the peculiarities of the parliamentary experience of the two countries and the imperative of exchanging experiences and expertise. On the same occasion, the Australian Official noted the importance of consolidating and reinforcing cooperation and partnerships in agriculture and food industries. 

Besides, the meeting between the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Australian Shadow Assistant Minister for Trade was also an opportunity to exchange views on several questions of mutual concern.
