Speaker of the House of Representatives Holds Talks with Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, held talks on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Seat of the House, with the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Mr. Ralph Gonsalves, and his entourage, currently on an official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed the relations between the two countries in various areas, particularly the parliamentary one. They also underscored the importance of intensifying bilateral and multilateral parliamentary coordination.

On occasion, the Speaker of the House of Representatives highlighted the major projects and reforms launched by the Kingdom of Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify him, in various areas, particularly renewable energies, digital transition, and large industries. He also gave an overview of the comprehensive and multidimensional development aspects that have rendered the Kingdom a pole of stability and development.

For his part, Mr. Ralph Gonsalves expressed his delight at meeting the Speaker of the House of Representatives with a view to exploring the Moroccan parliamentary experience and the relations between the political and constitutional institutions, in addition to the major projects launched by the Kingdom of Morocco. Mr. Gonsalves also stressed the importance of reinforcing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries at the bilateral and multilateral levels and giving new impetus to relations between the two legislative institutions in a way that serves the mutual interests of both countries and constitutes a lasting space for continuous dialogue and consultation between their parliamentarians.
