Speaker of the House of Representatives Holds Talks with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, held talks on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama, Mr. Vladimir Adolfo Franco Sousa, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Morocco to take part in the proceedings of the High-Level Ministerial Conference on Middle-Income Countries.

The meeting focused on relations between the two countries, particularly at the parliamentary level. In this respect, the two parties stressed the importance of consolidating said relations by exchanging experiences, expertise, and working visits, intensifying the dynamic of the parliamentary friendship group and the continental and international parliamentary coordination while respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries and not interfering in their internal affairs.

The meeting also featured the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Tomas Antonio Guardia.
