Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, held talks on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, with the Ambassador of Canada to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Isabelle Valois.
During their talks, the two parties praised the excellent quality of Morocco-Canada relations, particularly the parliamentary ones, which have been reinforced in recent years through cooperation agreements, exchange of visits, and reinforcement of communication, consultation, and coordination, especially on questions of mutual concern.
The two parties also underscored the key role of legislative institutions and parliamentarians in the relations between the two countries by sustaining bilateral and multilateral consultation and coordination.
On this occasion, the Canadian Ambassador expressed her esteem and appreciation for the major projects launched by the Kingdom of Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah glorify him, hence making the Kingdom a role model in several areas. H.E. Isabelle Valois also added that Morocco-Canada relations have maintained a positive level.
