Speaker of the House of Representatives and Ambassador of the Republic of Finland Discuss Consolidation of Parliamentary Cooperation

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, received on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Marjaana Sall, as part of a courtesy visit to the House of Representatives.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the peculiarities of the parliamentary experiences in both countries. In this regard, they underscored the importance of consolidating the bilateral and multilateral parliamentary ties through extending lasting cooperation and communication bridges between the two legislative institutions via their parliamentary friendship groups, exchanging visits and sharing parliamentary experiences and expertise, and coordinating regularly at the bilateral and multilateral levels within mutual respect for the sovereignty and integrity of States.

The two parties also tackled the major projects launched by the Kingdom of Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah glorify him, thus rendering the Kingdom a leading country in several areas and a role model at the continental and international levels.
