The Representatives of the Nation Unanimously Support the Responsible and Courageous Decisions Taken by Our Royal Armed Forces Under Leadership of His Majesty the King to Defend Territorial Integrity of the Kingdom
Believing in the sanctity of the first national cause, the one of the Moroccan Sahara, which the historical, legal and realistic legitimacy has confirmed the credibility of the Moroccan position towards it, and that is supported by the constant and persistent national consensus behind His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, the representatives of the nation affirm their appraisal and support for the responsible and courageous actions taken by our Royal Armed Forces under the leadership of His Majesty the King, may God preserve him, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the FAR, to defend legitimacy and reinstate security and stability in the various regions of the Southern provinces of the Moroccan Sahara.
The House of Representatives notes with pride the decisions taken by the Kingdom of Morocco to counter the desperate maneuvers in the Guergarate. It also supports the legitimate intervention to sweep the area and prevent any attempt to terrorize citizens and ensure the smooth movement of products and goods to the Morocco-Mauritania borders.
The House of Representatives also stresses the legitimacy of the actions carried out by Morocco under international resolutions and its exercise of the right to establish security in the region, after a restraint throughout the last period.
The House of Representatives lauds all decisions aimed at restoring normalcy and commends the recent non-offensive operation carried out by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), on a wise sovereign decision and in alignment with the UN Security Council Resolution 2548, which warned against the violations committed in the region and their repercussions.
The House of Representatives affirms that Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, will remain united in the face of all maneuvers and practices aimed at hindering normal traffic or altering the legal and historical status of the eastern part of the security wall.
The representatives of the nation, following these developments with great concern and interest, affirm their readiness to face all maneuvers and to invest all available means at the parliamentary level and within the framework of parliamentary diplomacy to convey Morocco's righteous, sincere and just voice to the various regional and international parliamentary organizations and fora.
