In a Message Addressed to Speaker of House of Representatives, President of Palestinian National Council Lauds Constant and Principled Positions of Kingdom of Morocco in Favor of the Palestinian Cause

President of Palestinian National Council Salim Al-Zaanoun expressed the consideration of the Palestinian people for the constant and principled positions of the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairperson of Al-Quds Committee, supporting the right of the Palestinian people to establishing their independent State with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

In a message received by Speaker of House of Representatives Habib El Malki, Mr. Al-Zaanoun affirmed that it is not strange for the Kingdom of Morocco and Moroccans to "pursue their support and deep-rooted Arabic commitment towards the cause of their Palestinian brothers, which would never change despite circumstances. This was reflected in the series of official, popular, unionist, and partisan solidarity activities organized in different regions and cities of the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco to celebrate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People."

The President of the Palestinian National Council commended the central position that the Palestinian cause enjoys within the Kingdom of Morocco, noting that the world does not accept the Israeli version or the fait-accompli policy and only agrees on the imperative of adhering to the international conventions and resolutions that recognize the Palestinian State, its people, and their cause, including the cause of Al-Quds in its religious, spiritual, cultural, civilizational, and political dimensions.
