House of Representatives Hosts National Symposium on Funding National Economy on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the House of Representatives organizes a national symposium on “Funding National Economy, Towards an Integrative Development,” on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020, at the House’s headquarters.

The organization of this symposium comes following the directives set by HM King Mohammed VI in his speech on the opening day of the legislative year, where His Majesty -may God protect Him- urged the banking sector for more involvement and positive engagement in the dynamic of Morocco’s development, specifically through funding investments and assisting productive, income-generating and job-creating activities.

His Majesty also called the banks for, in addition to supporting and funding large-scale enterprises, more engagement in development through facilitating loan processes, and to open up to auto-entrepreneurs and finance small and medium-sized enterprises.

It should be noted that the Board of the House of Representatives concluded in its last meeting held on January 14th, 2020 that the House’s agenda should include seminars and study days that follow the directives set in Royal speeches, in order to utilize their high potentials that encompass the economic, social, cultural, and environmental levels.
