Concluding Session of 147th IPU Assembly Displays Documentary Video of the Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue, Held in Marrakesh under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI on June 13-15, 2023

As part of the conclusion of the 147th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the 212th Session of the Governing Council, and the related meetings, held in the National Assembly of the Republic of Angola in Luanda on October 23-27, 2023, and within the presentation of the activities of the IPU for the year 2023, the Concluding Session displayed a documentary video of the Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue held in the Kingdom of Morocco under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah glorify him, in Marrakesh, on June 13-15, 2023. In this respect, the participants commended the good organization of this Conference organized by the Moroccan Parliament in partnership with the Inter-Parliamentary Union and with the support of Religions for Peace, the UN Alliance of Civilizations, and the Mohammadia League of Scholars.

During the presentation of the report, the Presidency of the Inter-Parliamentary Union reiterated its gratitude and recognition to the Kingdom of Morocco, and lauded the leading role of the Moroccan Parliament, following the wise vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah glorify him, in reinforcing coexistence, tolerance, and dialogue between all religions and beliefs worldwide.
