Clerk of the House of Representatives, Rep. Ilham Saki took part, on November 24, 2022, in Cairo, in the second meeting of the High-level Parliamentary Working Group on Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transition at the Arab Parliament.
The participation is part of the follow-up by the House of Representatives of the Arab Parliament's activities in order to consolidate the friendship ties with the representatives of Arab peoples and deepen joint parliamentary dialogue.
In her intervention during the meeting, Rep. Ilham Saki praised the efforts of the Group, given its contribution to the reinforcement of digital transition, innovation, and the deployment of new technologies to advance the mechanisms and tools of Arab parliamentary action.
On the same occasion, the Clerk of the House shed light on the Moroccan experience, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify him, in elaborating strategies and implementing national programs and plans to support technology and digital transition in our country. Rep. Ilham Saki also highlighted the evolution of the legal arsenal regulating the said areas.
Created in March 2022, the High-level Parliamentary Working Group on Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transition is the first Arab parliamentary network concerned with sciences and technology, with a view to stimulating interest in science and technology, and advancing the use of digital mechanisms in the Arab world.
