The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union commended the tireless and continuous efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairperson of Al-Quds Committee in defending the Holy City.
In its 34th Congress in Baghdad on February 25-26, 2023, the Union also praised the actions of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency under the Committee to provide the necessary support and assistance to the Palestinian people.
The Union noted that the region would not enjoy peace, security, and stability unless the Palestinian people regain their usurped rights, calling in this respect for the deployment of all possible efforts to clear the Arab atmosphere and resolve conflicts between Arab States, in order to close ranks, united, and strengthen the foundations of Arab security as a whole.
Moreover, the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union stressed its rejection of the tutelage and arrogant approach of the European Parliament towards several independent and sovereign Arab States to interfere in their internal affairs and impose its tutelage on them in a direct or indirect manner.
In this respect, the Union express its categorical and resolute rejection of all forms of aggression or foreign interference in the internal affairs of any Arab State, whether directly or indirectly.
Besides, the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union warned against the repercussions of politicizing the human rights issue or any other issue on the basis of erroneous and unfounded information.
