Meeting to Discuss the Strategy of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy to Mitigate the Impacts of COVID-19

The Productive Sectors Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. with the Minister of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy, to discuss the following topics:

- "Examination of the impacts of COVID-19 on the national economy", and "the repercussions of COVID-19 on the supply market." (Socialist Group),

- "The plan adopted to relaunch the productive economic and commercial activities in the light of the new situation following Coronavirus, and the necessary precautionary measures to ensure the health safety of all actors," "the legislative, regulatory, and administrative measures of manufacturing face masks and sanitizing products, and the extent to which these products meet the required health and quality standards," and "the measures adopted to assist enterprises to ensure the regular and appropriate supply of national market with highly consumed products, at affordable prices", "Public procurement contracts concluded between the Ministry and the concerned companies during the state of public health emergency; and presentation of necessary recommendations on the aspects of these contracts, their nature, goals, the extent of their efficiency, and their achievement of the said goals as part of proper management of the requirements of the current phase." (Istiqlali Group for Unity and Egalitarianism),

- "Repercussions of COVID-19 on the industry in Morocco." (Group of Justice and Development),

- "The situation of the national industrial and commercial systems in the light of the crisis emanating from the outbreak of COVID-19, and the measures taken to limit the pandemic's repercussions," "Government plan to revive the sectors of industry, trade, green and digital economy during the post-coronavirus phase, and to mitigate the pandemic's impacts."
