Discussion of Themes Linked to Tourism Followed by Meeting of the Committee’s Bureau on Wednesday, February 7, 2024

Meeting of the Productive Sectors Committee on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., with the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, to discuss the following themes proposed by the Parliamentary Groups and Caucus:

-      “2023-2026 National Tourism Strategy and the mechanisms adopted to achieve its goals” (Haraki Group);

-      “Investigation of the measures prepared by the Ministry and the concerned institutions to advance tourism in our country, particularly as Morocco will soon organize the Marhaba operation” (Socialist Group – Ittihadi Opposition);

-      “Impacts of the new credits allocated to domestic tourism in our country” (Parliamentary Caucus of Justice and Development);

-      “Measures taken to implement the program of reconstruction and general restoration of the regions struck by the Al-Haouz earthquake with regard to tourism” (Parliamentary Caucus of Justice and Development);

-      “The bet of national tourism in light of the sports competitions our countries will host” (Haraki Group);

-      “Measures to be taken by the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy to implement the high Royal directives in order to restore the tourist attractions at the areas struck by the earthquake and limit the damages recorded in tourism” (Socialist Group – Ittihadi Opposition);

-      “Record of the 2023 tourism season” (Majority Groups and the Constitutional, Democratic, and Social Group).
