The President of the House of Representatives condemns London terror attack 03/24/2017

The President of the House of Representatives of Morocco M. Habib EL MALKI addressed a letter to His Excellency Hon. JOHN BERCOW the Speaker of the House of Commons after the terrorist attack on the premises of the Westminster British Parliament in London on March 22nd, 2017:

To

His Excellency Hon. JOHN BERCOW

Speaker of the House of Commons

I was deeply shocked and profoundly saddened by the terrorist attack on the premises of the Westminster British Parliament in London on March 22nd, 2017, which resulted in a number of victims.

I would like to express, on my own behalf and on behalf of all members of the House of Representatives of Morocco, to your Excellency and to the families of the victims our condolences and strong condemnation of this attack on one of the institutional symbols of the British democracy, as well as the solidarity of the House of Representatives with your Parliament in this ordeal.

I am convinced that the British people, rooted in the values of democracy, tolerance and pluralism, will not bend to terrorism and will not be dragged into what their perpetrators and leaders want, based on a historical and civilized depth of multilateralism and respect for the other.

While reiterating the expression of my deep condolences, please accept, Excellency Mr. Speaker, the assurances of my highest consideration.
