Chairperson of the Internal Affairs, Territorial Authorities, Housing, City Policy, and Administrative Affairs Committee Receives Delegation of the Commission on Delegate Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam

Chairperson of the Internal Affairs, Territorial Authorities, Housing, City Policy, and Administrative Affairs Committee, Rep. Mohamed Ouadmine, received on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, a delegation of the Commission on Delegate Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam, led by MP Nguyen Anh Tuan, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco. 

At the onset of the meeting, Rep. Mohamed Ouadmine noted that the encounter is an opportunity to anchor the strong bond linking the legislative institutions of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam within the scope of the cooperation agreement they concluded in 2017.

On the same occasion, Rep. Mohamed Ouadmine shed light on the prerogatives of the House of Representatives in legislation, government action control, and public policy evaluation, focusing on the legislative and control functions conferred to the Internal Affairs Committee in several areas. 

For their part, the members of the Internal Affairs Committee provided explanations on several themes raised by the Vietnamese delegation, particularly the representation of women in elected institutions, in addition to the shared vision of cooperation between the two countries. 

For his part, MP Nguyen Anh Tuan gave an overview of the roles of the Commission on Delegate Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam, which focuses on facilitating the work of parliamentarians, as it is one of the Commissions that work under the aegis of the Standing Committee of the Assembly. The Commission regulates of the work of parliamentarians and ensures coordination with the Standing Committee within the Assembly. 

In addition to the Committee Chairperson, the meeting featured the attendance of Rep. Fatima Syida, Rep. Fadel Brass, Rep. Abdelkrim Zemzami, Rep. Hassan Berkani, Rep. Abdessamad Haiker, Rep. Mohamed Hammani, and Rep. Youssef Bizid.
