Birmingham: High-Level Parliamentary Delegation Takes Part in the Conservative Party Conference

A high-level parliamentary delegation is taking part in the proceedings of the Conservative Party Conference, held in Birmingham in the United Kingdom from September 29 to October 2, 2024.

The said delegation includes Rep. Hassan Benomar and Rep. Idriss Chraibi, from the Group of the National Rally of Independents; Rep. Youness Ouchen and Rep. Jaouhara Bousjada, from the Group of Authenticity and Modernity; and Rep. Ahmed El-Aaleme, from the Istiqlali Group of Unity and Egalitarianism.

The Conference features several workshops that debate climate change, renewable energies, the situation in Gaza, the creation of economic alliances for a new economic growth, combating misinformation, and women’s political participation.

The Conservative Party Is one of largest two parties of the United Kingdom alongside the Labor Party, and its major rival since the 1930s.

It should be noted that the British Conservative Party is a founding member of the International Democracy Union and the European Conservatives and Reformists Group.
