Liverpool: Rep. Fatima Tamni Takes Part in the Labour Party Annual Conference

Rep. Fatima Tamni is taking part in the proceedings of the Annual Conference of the Labour Party, organized in Liverpool, England, on September 22-25, 2024. 

The Conference includes several workshops that cover women’s political participation, climate change, combatting racism and islamophobia, and constructing a better future for youth. 

The Labour Party of the United Kingdom is a centre-left political party established in 1900. In 1924, the party moved to become the second largest party in the United Kingdom and acceded to power from 1929 to 1931 with the support of the Liberal Party. 

It should be noted that the Labour Party managed a huge win in the latest legislative elections in July and ended the 14-year reign of the Conservative Party, thus paving the way for his leader, Mr. Keir Starmer, to Downing Street.
