Examination of Requests of the Parliamentary Groups and Caucus on Wednesday, June 5, 2024

Meeting of the Productive Sectors Committee on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., with the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water, and Forests, to examine the following requests of the Parliamentary Groups and Caucus:

• “Assessment of the project to restructure wholesale markets in Morocco, scheduled by the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water, and Forests, focusing on the dysfunctions of this project, and the measures that need to be taken to rehabilitate and modernize wholesale markets in Morocco, and the full implementation of the government program in this area,” (Socialist Group - Ittihadi Opposition)
• “Expected supply for Eid Al-Adha, the conditions for supporting livestock imports, and ways of supporting Moroccan farmers and livestock breeders,” (Haraki Group – Popular Movement Group)
• "Evaluation of the impact of the extraordinary subsidy granted to livestock importers on the prices of meats in our country," (Group of Progress and Socialism)
• “Measures taken and planned to secure livestock for Eid Al-Adha and guarantee their quality, taking into account the purchasing power of citizens,”  (Parliamentary Caucus of Justice and Development)
• “Preparations undertaken to meet the needs of Eid Al-Adha,” (Majority Groups and the Constitutional, Democratic, and Social Group)
• “Emergency plan adopted and measures taken to cope with the repercussions of a drought-stricken agricultural season.” (Majority Groups and the Constitutional, Democratic, and Social Group)
