Launch of Fourth Edition of Parliamentary Press Prize for 2024

The House of Representatives announces the launch of the fourth edition of the Parliamentary Press Prize for 2024, organized annually, according to the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives, to encourage and honor the skillful Moroccan media professionals in recognition of their individual or collective efforts in advancing parliamentary action, promoting it, strengthening political participation, and consolidating the State of institutions.

The Prize covers the following categories:

     1.            Prize of Recognition, awarded to a journalist for their career in covering parliamentary action;

     2.            Prize of print media;

     3.            Prize of electronic media;

     4.            Prize for visual content;

     5.            Prize for audio content;

     6.            Prize for best image.

National media institutions (televisions, radios, agencies, newspapers, websites) can participate in all the categories above.

The candidates for the Prize must:

  • Be Moroccan;
  • Hold a journalist card valid for 2024;
  • Present his candidacy individually or collectively as part of a work team;
  • Media institutions may nominate one person or a team among their workers;
  • The running works must be submitted in their original version, as they were published or broadcast on national media. The running works must have been published between 01/01/2023 and 31/12/2023;
  • For electronic press, the running works must be preserved on the news website on which they were published until the official announcement of the awarded works.

The nominated works must be deposited in five copies with the Registry Office at the Seat of the House of Representatives at Mohammed V Avenue, Rabat, along with the candidacy form, which can be printed from the House's website: www.chambredesrepresenants.ma, or sent via mail: prixpresse2024@parlement.ma, from 01/05/2024 to 31/05/2024.
