The Morocco-Dominican Republic Parliamentary Friendship Group members at the House of Representatives held a virtual communication meeting with their counterparts at the Dominican Chamber of Deputies on Thursday, October 27, 2022.
The meeting featured the participation of Rep. Abderrazak Hachimi, Head of the Morocco-Dominican Republic Parliamentary Friendship Group, Rep. Latifa Lablih, and Rep. Rabia Bouja, Group members.
The Dominican side was represented by Rep. Rosa Hilda Genao Diaz, the Head of the Dominican Republic-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group, and several Group members.
During the meeting, the Moroccan Representatives highlighted the features of the political and diplomatic links between the two countries. They also expressed the readiness of the Moroccan side to extend dialogue bridges between the two countries and intensify meetings and talks between the two parliamentary friendship groups to advance the level of bilateral cooperation between the legislative institutions of the two countries.
For her part, Rep. Rosa Hilda Genao Diaz expressed her esteem for the great efforts the Kingdom of Morocco deploys in industry, environment, and energy. However, she also noted the significant challenges her country faces in these domains.
In the same context, the Dominican Official stressed the importance of exchanging visits between the members of the two Friendship Groups in order to advance the relations between the two legislative institutions and the peoples of the two countries further.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of His Majesty to Santo Domingo, H.E. Hicham Dahane. The latter commended, in his intervention, the initiative of parliamentary communication between the two parties. He also noted the excellence of the Kingdom of Morocco in several vital areas under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah glorify him.
