Virtual Communication Meeting Between Morocco-Costa Rica Parliamentary Friendship Group and Its Counterpart at the Costa Rican Legislative Assembly

The Chairperson of the Morocco-Costa Rica Parliamentary Friendship Group at the House of Representatives, Rep. Malika Lhyane, held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, a virtual communication meeting with her counterpart from the Costa Rican Legislative Assembly, M. Waldo Agûero Sanabria.

During the meeting, Rep. Malika Lhyane noted the major characteristics of the political and diplomatic ties linking the two countries. She also commended the dynamism marking cooperation  between the two countries, stressing the importance of exchanging visits and intensifying efforts and meetings between the Moroccan and Costa Rican officials to uplift the bilateral relations to a new level.

For his part, the Chairperson of the Costa Rica - Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group, M. Waldo Agûero Sanabria, noted the imperative of consolidating cooperation between the legislative institutions of the two countries through the Parliamentary Friendship Groups, in addition to strengthening cooperation between political parties and civil society and serve the interests of the peoples of both countries.

M. Waldo Agûero Sanabria also affirmed the importance of exchanging visits between the members of the two Parliamentary Friendship Groups to exchange expertise and deepen talks in order to advance the bilateral relations between the legislative institutions further.

It should be noted that this meeting featured the participation of the Ambassador of His Majesty to Costa Rica, H.E. Tarik Louajri.
