Strasbourg: PACE Report Sheds Light on Morocco's Experience as a Partner for Democracy

The Moroccan Parliamentary Representation within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe takes part, as of June 19, 2023, in the proceedings of the Third Part of the 2023 Ordinary Session of the PACE, held at the European Parliament's Seat in Strasbourg.

During the Session, which runs until June 23, the members of the Moroccan parliamentary delegation will tackle the report on the functioning of the Partnership for Democracy, submitted by the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy and adopted by the plenary at the April session, which highlights the exemplary nature of the partnership linking the Moroccan Parliament with the PACE and the prospects for consolidating it.

Moreover, the Moroccan delegation will organize, in cooperation with the Consulate General of our country and the PACE, a thematic conference on "Defending human rights across the seas." The Conference will feature the participation of Mr. Driss El Yazami as a guest speaker and an art exhibition at its end.

The delegation will also attend the inauguration of a fountain donated by the Kingdom of Morocco to be installed at the seat of the PACE.
