Strasbourg: Moroccan Parliamentary Representation Takes Part in 2024 Ordinary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
The Moroccan Parliamentary Representation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is taking part on January 22-26, 2024, in the proceedings of the first part of the Assembly's 2024 Ordinary Session, hosted at the Seat of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
At the inauguration of the Session, the members of the Moroccan delegation attended the plenary sitting that featured the election of Mr. Theodoros Rousopoulos (Greece, EPP/DC), to the Presidency of the PACE, succeeding to Mr. Tiny Kox (Netherlands).
The Moroccan participation in the Session falls within the scope of the status of a partner for democracy that the Moroccan Parliament has been holding for more than 12 years.
