Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, Mr. Najib El Khadi, Decorated with the Order of the Pleiades

On the sidelines of the 28th African Regional Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie, held in Rabat on June 23-24, 2022, the Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, Mr. Najib El Khadi, was decorated with the Officer Class of the Order of the Pleiades.

This decoration of Mr. Najib El Khadi, by the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie and Speaker of the National Assembly of Cote d'Ivoire, Hon. Adama BICTOGO, took place in the presence of Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the rest of the members participating in this 28th Assembly, and in recognition of his work within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie, in his capacity as Vice-President of the Association of the Secretaries General of Parliaments.

The Order of the Pleiades is an order with an international vocation intended to recognize the outstanding merits of personalities who distinguish themselves by serving the ideals of the Francophonie.

Several personalities from all over the world, including politicians, writers, intellectuals, scientists, artists, and athletes, received this Order.

The Order of the Pleiades was created in 1976 during the 7th APF Assembly at the United Nations in New York.

It is the only Order of La Francophonie and the most prestigious international medal awarded by an inter-parliamentary organization.
