Moroccan Parliamentary Representation at the PACE Tackles the Question of Human Rights

The Moroccan Parliamentary Representation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is taking part, since Monday, June 19, 2023, in the proceedings of the Third Part of the Ordinary Session of the PACE, taking place at the seat of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

On this occasion, the members of the Moroccan parliamentary delegation took part in the proceedings of the PACE Committees: the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy; the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights; the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons; the Committee on Culture, Science, Education, and Media; and the Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination.

On the sidelines of the activities inscribed on the Agenda of the Session, the PACE hosted a thematic conference organized by the Moroccan Parliamentary Representation in collaboration with the General Consulate of the Kingdom in Strasbourg on "Defending human rights across the seas." The Conference featured the participation of Mr. Driss El Yazami as a guest speaker and an art exhibition at its end.
