A Moroccan parliamentary delegation takes part in the work of the thirteenth session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Member States (PUIC) n, which is hosted Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, on February 8 and 9th, 2020, this session, is attended, by representatives of the member parliaments of the Association worldwide.
This conference is convened in the light of the serious conditions and circumstances that hinder the Palestinian cause, and the schemes aimed to undermine it. Moreover and the challenges posed by the peace plan announced by US President Donald Trump, on the international and regional scales, the possible political mutations that may result.
Moreover, The conference strive to discuss the means of providing the suitable positive atmospheres, to preserve the assets of the Palestinian cause and the attitudes and suggestions that our Islamic and Arab nation has accumulated to protect the causes of peace and to enshrine a common future and ensure stability in the Middle East region and in the world.
This participation arises to confirm the position of the Kingdom of Morocco, King, Government and people, on the case of Al-Quds and the legitimate and unswerving rights of the Palestinian people, and reflects the presence of the Palestinian cause in the consciousness of all Moroccans and of all the components of the Moroccan people. The Kingdom of Morocco, whose King chaired the Al-Quds Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, reiterated its position in the "Jerusalem Call" for March 30, 2019, signed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and Pope Francis I.
The Moroccan people continue their continuous support for the Palestinian cause in general and Jerusalem, with its status and sanctities in particular, and the Moroccan contribution to this struggle does not stop, as reflected in the Moroccan parliamentary contributions in the various regional, and international parliamentary forums, as well as at the level of parliamentary diplomatic relations, whether bilateral or Multilateral.
The Moroccan people pursue their adherence for the Palestinian cause in general and Al-Quds, with its symbolism and sanctities in particular. The Moroccan contribution to this struggle does not stop, as reflected in the Moroccan parliamentary contributions in the various regional, regional and international parliamentary forums, as well as at the level of parliamentary diplomatic relations, whether bilateral or multilateral.
The Moroccan Parliament is participating in a delegation headed by Mr. Mohamed Ouzzine, Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives, and it includes deputies members of the Thematic Working Group on the Palestinian cause in the House of Representatives.
