A delegation from the Moroccan Parliament is taking part in the works of the third sitting of the second session of the third legislature of the Arab Parliament, taking place on February 20-23, 2022, at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt,.
The agenda of this session includes meetings of the standing committees and others of interim committees, in addition to a sitting of the Arab Parliament.
The first day featured the convention of meetings of the sub-committees. In this respect, the Committee on Palestine, the Joint Committee on Sustainable Development and the Committee in charge of developing a concept note for the proposal to establish the “Arab Health Organization” held their meetings.
The members of the Moroccan parliamentary representation were received by President of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoomi. The latter expressed the support of the Arab Parliament to the Kingdom of Morocco and praised the important role of the Moroccan representation in the action of the Institution.
The Moroccan parliamentary delegation involves members of the national parliamentary representation at the Arab Parliament, namely three members of the House of Representatives and one from the House of Councilors:
- Rep. Mohammed Ayyach (Group of the National Rally of Independents);
- Rep. Khadija Hajjoubi (Group of Authenticity and Modernity);
- Rep. Ahmed Chada (Haraki Group);
- Cllr. Mohamed Bakouri (Chairperson of the Group of the National Rally of Independents in the House of Councilors).
