Meeting to Discuss the Impacts of the Drop in Crude Oil Prices on the Prices of Energy Products in National Market

The Infrastructure, Energy, Mining, and Environment Committee is holding a meeting on Monday, June 1st, 2020, right after the plenary sitting, with the Minister of Energy, Mining, and Environment. The meeting will discuss “the impacts of the large drop in the prices of crude oil at the level of international markets since early 2020 on the prices of energy products in the national market, and the measures taken regarding storage and supply of national market with oil and gas.” The topic was raised by the Group of Authenticity and Modernity, the Haraki Group and The Istiqlali Group for Unity and Egalitarianism.

The meeting will be attended by one representative of each parliamentary group and caucus while enabling the members of the Committee to participate in the meeting via videoconference.
