Education, Culture, and Communication Committee Holds Meeting on Tuesday, December 15th, 2020
The Education, Culture, and Communication Committee at the House of Representatives held a meeting on Tuesday, December 15th, 2020, at 10 a.m. at the House's headquarters (Room 8). The meeting was run by the Committee Chairperson Mohammed Mellal, in the presence of Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education, and Scientific Research Said Amzazi, Director-General of the Office of Vocational Training and Job Promotion (OFPPT) Loubna Tricha, and several members of the Committee who participated in-situ and via videoconference. The meeting was devoted to discussing a presentation of the Director-General on two topics:
1- A presentation on the “Office of Vocational Training and Job Promotion (OFPPT),” (Committee’s Bureau),
2- A roadmap for the promotion of vocational training and the creation of the cities of professions and skills (Socialist group).
The meeting was marked by a deep discussion during which the parties diagnosed the reality of the vocational training sector and where the deputies presented several suggestions and ideas to ameliorate and advance the performance of the vocational training establishments. Following that, the participants heard the responses of the Director-General and the Minister. The meeting lasted four hours.
