Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Zaina Idhali, Holds Talks with Head of the Chinese Association for International Understanding

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Zaina Idhali, held talks on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Seat of the House in Rabat, with the Head of the Chinese Association for International Understanding and former Deputy Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, Mr. Ji Bingxuan, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Morocco on December 20-23, 2023.

During the meeting, the two parties explored the different aspects of bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the People’s Republic of China. In this respect, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives commended the strength of cooperation between the two friendly countries who entertain historical deep-rooted ties, noting that said cooperation witnesses regular advancement despite the geographical distance separating the two countries.

For his part, the Head of the Chinese Association for International Understanding lauded the achievements of the Kingdom of Morocco in recent years in several areas. In the same regard, he added that the visit aims to reinforce friendship and cooperation bonds between the Kingdom of Morocco and the People’s Republic of China in service of their common interests.

It should be noted that the Head of the Chinese Association for International Understanding is visiting the Kingdom of Morocco upon an invitation by the Association for Chinese-Moroccan Friendship and Exchange.
