Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Hassan Benomar received on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the seat of the House, a delegation of the Finance and Budget Committee at the National Assembly of Niger, currently on a study visit to our country.
During the meeting, the two parties stressed the imperative of activating the Morocco-Niger Parliamentary Friendship Group and exchanging visits and experiences to advance cooperation between the two legislative institutions.
On occasion, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives recalled the strong ties linking the Kingdom of Morocco and African countries, including the Republic of Niger, thanks to the wise policy of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify him, in this regard, which grants South-South Cooperation great importance.
In the same respect, Rep. Hassan Benomar briefed the Nigerien parliamentary delegation on the political reforms of the Kingdom since 2011 and its achievements in infrastructure energy. He also noted that the Kingdom of Morocco aims to share these achievements with all African countries.
For their part, the members of the Nigerien parliamentary delegation underscored that this study visit intends to explore the Moroccan experience in the management of public policies.
The delegation of the National Assembly of Niger includes Mr. Mamane Harouna, Mr. Salifou Moussa, and Ms. Amina Saminou Laouali.
