Committee on Petitions Holds Meeting on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021

The Committee on Petitions held a meeting on Tuesday, February 9^th, 2021, in presence of its members, to finalize the examination of Petition 1/2020 submitted to the House of Representatives on December 31^st, 2020, and referred by the Speaker of the House to the Committee on January 12^th, 2021.

During the meeting, the deputies pursued the discussion of the said petition and the recommendations the Committee will submit to the Board of the House under the deadlines set in Organic Law 44.14 defining the conditions and modalities for exercising the right to petition public authorities and following the provisions of the Rules of Procedure of the House.

At the end of the meeting, and after ensuring that the petition fulfills all the requirements stipulated in Organic Law 44.14, the Committee members agreed on a draft of its opinion, procedures, and recommendations that are deemed appropriate for the petition referred to it.
