Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs, National Defense, Islamic Affairs, and Moroccan Expatriates Committee Holds Talks with Member of Foreign Affairs Committee at Egyptian House of Representatives

Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs, National Defense, Islamic Affairs, and Moroccan Expatriates Committee, Rep. Nadia Bouaida, held talks on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Seat of the House, with Rep. Gihane Zaki, a member of the External Relations Committee at the Egyptian House of Representatives.

The talks, attended by the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Yasser Osman, covered the means to consolidate cooperation between the legislative institutions of the two countries, particularly their FA Committees. In the same respect, the two parties noted the importance of exchanging experiences and expertise.

On occasion, Rep. Nadia Bouaida gave an overview of the formation and prerogatives of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Conference of Chairpersons of Foreign Affairs Committees in African Parliaments, organized by the House of Representatives on July 6-7, 2023, on: “African Parliamentary Cooperation in Light of the Present Challenges.”
